Initial Piano Assessment
$40 assessment lesson at the Wentworth Point studio or in your home for placement, readiness and pathway recommendation.
The Initial Assessment is a combined trial lesson and assessment, not a casual try-and-see lesson. It helps determine current level, learning style, readiness, goals and the most suitable starting pathway.
The assessment comes first. Program placement and ongoing tuition options are recommended afterwards.
Placement is into Foundation (1 lesson per week) or Development (2 lessons per week).

Program Setup and enrolment
Program Setup applies only if you continue. It covers enrolment setup, terms, and preparation of an individual term plan.
A clear beginning makes everything easier: enquiry, Initial Assessment, recommendation, Program Setup, individual term plan, then lessons begin.
For an at-home assessment, provide your suburb and nearest cross street. Any travel fee is quoted and confirmed before booking.
FoundationOne lesson per week
Steady weekly structure with a clear term plan and practice diary, while the student completes more practice independently between lessons.
DevelopmentTwo lessons per week
Twice-weekly teacher contact, closer accountability and regular reporting, with stronger AMEB preparation support where appropriate.
